No, because the other truck is a Ford.

That depends on the which Ford and which Nissan, as options and drive train choices matter.. My work cargo van is a 78 Ford E150, with 351W, four speed standard, 411 posi 9 inch, dual tanks and full gauges. needless to say, my work truck is better than the current Fords, and way better than any pick up or van that Japan ever made. 520,000K miles, original Cater 2 barrel carb., and a few hundred per year to service.

No, I had a Frontier 4 door and it was pretty good, aside from a sensor issue Nissan couldn't figure out for over a week.

Kind of depends on what you need it for. If you need to pull more than 5k pounds, the F150 would be a lot tougher.

But, built Ford Tough.

Talking about that Ford and that Nissan. Those little trucks here are everywhere and last for the same if not more kms than your Ford.

Well, these are as base as you can get (ABS is an option), so i'd say they are pretty stress-free.

Its a tougher truck though, I don't think the Ford is better in that way.

There's a reason they're popular in the Middle East, and not just with terrorists...

A 2.4 inline 4 cylinder.

I know! They have the same reputation as Hiluxes here.

in that case Nissan wins.

Not really, it's the datsun.

Sorry but I was once an import wrench and Nissan's best pickups were made decades ago, and none lasted a half a million miles as a work truck. Seriously when I lost track of the millage on the ford, it was half a million, while the highest millage datsun pickup that I worked on had just crossed 300,000. But it was not used to carry 150% of it's rated payload on a regular basis, but rather to transport large pet dogs in it's covered bed.

I was implying that.

These Nissan pickups are the same as decades ago mechanically.

i thought you had "full gauges" does your odometer not work? damn cheap plastic shitty ford odometers breaking all the time. but i know a contractor with a nissan whose odometer still works and its from 1978 too. must mean its better quality.

Both my Ford and Audi 4000q have this issue, I can't kill them, but the ods are broken. At least the fords lasted a half a million miles.

his nissan is still running. original engine. re gasket at 250k had it ever since college where aside from commuting to class he also used it to deliver pizza. and try and pick up girls. he was pretty quick at delivering pizza. he wasn't as successful at the latter
